Today we shared the activities we had completed for our learning about volume and capacity. These fotobabbles give just a 'snippet' of what we learned; but I'm sure if you discussed this with your child at home, they would be able to explain more to you ...
Some questions you could ask:

How could you check how much space the block buildings were taking?

Why is it important for each cup to contain the same amount of water or beans?

How can you measure how much a container can hold?

Brian & Bobby ...

We enjoyed a show today. Brian and Bobby came to talk to us about numbers and how we can record serial numbers for the belongings we have in our homes, such as DVD players, laptops, mobile phones, stereos, etc.
We learnt that all the serial numbers are different, so if we know our serial numbers the police can easily return any lost or stolen items.
Sheets will be sent home next week with more information.
