A BIG THANK YOU - to all the parents and friends and family of the students in Room 22, for all the support you have given over the year. We've enjoyed an awesome learning journey together; we could not have achieved so much without your help!
Thank you so much for all the lovely Christmas cards & gifts!
I wish you all happy holidays and wish all the very best for the New Year!
We got into groups of six and we each shared one sentence from our six sentence scarecrow stories to make new six sentence stories. Here are the ones we recorded ...
Thank you to all our parents who have donated the materials for us to make our scarecrow.
We have made a start and the photos show the progress we have made.
Room 22 Children - What is the caption and photo on slide number 4? If you can tell me on Monday morning, I will reward you with a prize and house points! Ms Seaman
This afternoon the Year 2's planted some fruits and vegetables in the school's new gardens. We are growing some: onions, carrots, lettuces & strawberries. Also some Marigold flowers because these are good companion plants to attract the bees.
We had fun making sure the plants (and ourselves!) were watered!
We are learning to use Comic Book to retell the stories in our reading books. Today's reading group with Gahee, Henna, Sua, Omar, Caleb & Kyan worked together to tell the story in the book 'Ducks on the Run'.
We had a great time, learning about food, cooking and tasting ...
Room 22 Children - I have a treat for you, if you can bring a diagram of your tongue showing which areas taste the sweet, sour and savory foods. Bring it to school on Monday!
And house points if you can tell me what gluten is!
